This Instagram account recently shared a video showing a vehicle traveling down a street in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Barcelona. The images were captured from inside a car traveling on a two-lane road in the same direction.

In the video, the car recording the images is seen stopped in the left lane. On the asphalt, a lane marking indicates that from there, you can continue straight or turn right. Vehicles in the right lane, however, are required to turn right.

The conflict occurs when, after a traffic light placed before the intersection turns green, the car in the left lane decides to turn right. However, a motorcyclist stopped in the right lane decides to continue straight ahead and ignore his obligation to turn. This causes the two to cross paths, and if not for the driver's sudden braking, they would have had an accident.
